Hi, I'm in Honors because I LOVE the extra challenge.
ReplyDeleteHello, I'm in honors because I would like to have a better chance at transferring to four year college of my choice. I do enjoy the challenge of honors courses as well as the smaller, more focused classes. It's also nice to be around people who aren't just going to school because their parents make them.
ReplyDeleteHi, I am in honors english because I enjoy reading books, and writing/disscussing interesting topics. Plus it will be fun meeting other people who enjoy the challange of being in honors as well.

ReplyDeleteHello, I'm taking Honors English because I want to get into a UC, particularly UCLA for their Design Media Arts. I've always enjoyed english class--it's my favorite and strongest subject--so I'd rather challenge and improve at it than get lazy and sluggish in an easy class. :)
ReplyDeleteHola=)
ReplyDeleteI am taking Honors English because I believe that I am a decent writer/reader and that I can overcome a difficult challenge if I set my mind to it as well as put forth the extra effort. I succeded in AP Language and Composition my senior year of high school and I would like to put the skills that I acquired from that class to good use here. Hopefully, I will be successful here in college honors english and I hope that this class will help me go a lot further in my education. I look forward to working with my fellow classmates and my teacher, as well as to be able to see others' viewpoints on certain topics!=D
Hey!! I decided to take this class for two main reasons. First I have not taken an actual honors course before and second I sincerely want to embrace the opportunity to understand literature and better my writing skills. I know that this will help me in future jobs and even day to day things.
ReplyDeleteI am taking Honors English 100 because I want to challenge myself to overcome difficult assignments. I've always preferred an honors class over a regular course because it makes the class more exquisite and challenging.
ReplyDeleteI'm taking honors because I got good grades. I also think it would be cool to be able to tell girls that I'm an honor student. But I really just want to push myself to work harder and harder. So, every once and a while when I look back on what I've done I won't be to disappointed. And I would like to get into a good college and being an honor student will certainly help.
ReplyDeleteI'm taking honors English because i need honors credits. I have 2 other honors classes so i am hoping that after this semester ill only need 6 more for honors certification, although ill most likely take more for the challenge. Honors english is necessary because i need it to transfer out of Fullerton. I am not going to lie and say i want an extra challenge, i just want a better chance of transfering to UCLA and having a more attractive resume=]
ReplyDeleteHello there, I am in honors because i feel i need the challenge so i can be motivated to transfer from fullerton to USC. English is one of my favorite subjects, and i feel taking an honors course allows for me to be more engaged in the class and have fun as opposed to just being in a class with 40 other students who dont know each other
ReplyDeleteI'm taking honors english this year because i enjoy the challenge, and like being in a class with 20 other intelligent students who are just as, if not more motivated than me. The honors program will also give me a better shot at transferring to USC as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm taking this honors course in order to grasp a better understanding of writing and analyzing literature. Also, it can't hurt my chances of transferring to a quality university.

ReplyDeleteHello! I am taking Honors English because i am in the honors program. The reason i wanted to be in the honors program is because i heard that if you in it then you have a really strong chance of getting into UCLA. I guess fjc's biggest alliance is with UCLA. I also just want to be able to challenge myself and be able to say that i took this class and did well.
ReplyDeleteOne of the reasons I joined honors english was because of my senior year english teacher, Mrs. B. She was definitly the strongest impact on this decision, she showed me that no mountain is ever going to be an easy climb so why not take a challenge.
ReplyDelete(This was way before the Miley Cyrus song)
Also because i have taken some honors classes and enjoyed them. However, i never actually pushed myself to my greatest potential. I feel like this is my second chance to prove to myself and others ,that i can handle a challenge without giving up at the firt sign of trouble.
I decided to join the honors program because I was recommended to do so by my counselor. He told me how participating in honors classes would boost my chances in transferring to UCLA, where I've wanted to go for the longest time.
ReplyDeleteI specifically enrolled in honors english because of the amazing english teachers I have had over the course of high school. In short, they showed me what life was all about. I thank them for so many good times.
I am taking an English Honors class because I prefer the seminar format and the opportunity for greater discussion with my classmates. I'm not too enthused about the difficulty and large amount of work.
ReplyDeletebecause I finally qualified. Thought i should get in while i'm still able to get the grades needed. So far, i am pleased with the difference in style of teaching/instructing. Freedom= hard work. I enjoy the hard work as long as it has purpose, esp. when i'm learning along the way.
